I know that Scott, or people like him, won't believe it till it happens -- and it won't happen with his vote -- but I thought this was worth mentioning.

Now that it's been stated publicly, at least they can be called on the carpet if something different is enacted, should the Democrats win the White House.

And, before anyone flames me about the left saying things that aren't true, or are distorted, or are modified after they've been said, just remember there is a LOT of video and audio evidence extant that pins that complaint on both the left and the right. All the windows in our glass houses are shattered. Let's just leave it at that.

BEIJING, Sept 23 (Reuters) - Leftist Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez arrived in China on Tuesday, saying he planned to build three joint-venture refineries in the country to process Venezuelan crude, and operate a joint tanker fleet.
Chavez has repeatedly said he wants to sell more oil to China. A self-styled revolutionary and florid critic of Washington, Chavez wants to reduce his nation's traditional reliance on energy markets in the United States.
China's big energy appetite and Communist Party government make it an attractive alternative.

Gawd, I hate this man!

What a mess one of these two is going to have when he hits the White House! Aspirin will be the #1 med!

We talked about Factcheck.org in earlier comment/threads...

Seems that at least one analyst working there, and possibly the whole operation, is now under serious claims of intentional misrepresentation.

Rather than go into it all, *here* is a link to a discussion and more links, and while it will take a bit of reading to go through it all I leave it to you each to decide if you think Factcheck is in any way reliable.

((sigh))
