Oh sure, introduce it on a Friday, right at the end of a tumultuous national election that must have the entire world sitting on the edge of their seats, buried under a number of other entries. This whole open ideas thing, brazenly offered by the Keeper of the Blog and immediately buried under the groaning mass of pagan holy day / freaky commercial madness & a crazy news cycle.

Thank you VERY much.

Seriously, thanks for the open forum opportunity.

Hehhehheh, I'd claim it was a plan, but (far too obviously) I'm not that clever.

Got anything fun going?

BTW--

I voted early-

McCain-- only because I figure he was the best one out of the two and foreign policy he can handle-- much better than what's his cheating face!

With the mess of this gov't going on now, why would anyone want to be President?

I bet George is like counting on his calendar where he and Laura can just go somewhere and relax!

Vaya con DiĆ³s!

Gov Schwarzenegger is making fun of Obama-- said he has scrawny legs--
what is with these insults?

Hillary is making fun of McCain by using Halloween gimmicks!

How rude and how tacky????

I am not even laughing at either remarks....

Happy Sunday!

McCain did a pretty good job of making fun of himself & his campaign -- and not in a good way, I don't think -- on Saturday Night Live. That sure wasn't the face or the kind of humor I'd expect from someone intent on an office as dignified as the Presidency.

Only caught a little bit of the show (video feed), so I can't say well. I did see the Al Smith dinner speech a few weeks back and I thought that one was fine.

Still, there have been *lots* of things about the campaign to make fun of... ((shudder))

Wasn't there also a parody of MSNBC(?) Countdown as well?

Well on something other than Humor. The usally reprehensible Jerry Nadler D-NY, talking about letting Russia Invade Georgia:

And a little WW2 Rememberance, or.. what happens if you let Marines alone, unsupervised play with Army Toys :-)
